Supermart Organization is seeking a dependable and efficient Delivery Personnel to handle the pickup and delivery of customer orders. The role involves ensuring that goods are delivered safely, promptly, and in excellent condition while maintaining good customer service.
Responsibilities
- Pick up orders from the warehouse or assigned locations
- Deliver goods to customers in a timely manner
- Ensure items are properly handled and secured during transit
- Follow assigned routes and delivery schedules
- Confirm deliveries and obtain necessary proof of delivery
- Communicate delivery updates and issues to management
- Maintain professionalism when interacting with customers
Requirements
- Must be reliable, punctual, and responsible
- Good knowledge of local routes and navigation
- Ability to handle packages carefully
- Basic communication skills
- Must be honest and customer-friendly
- Prior delivery experience is an advantage but not required
Working Conditions
- Field-based job with daily movement
- Flexible working hours depending on delivery schedules
- Use of mobile phone for coordination and tracking
